The Pinery

Last weekend found us at The Pinery, a provincial park on the shore of Lake Huron. We bought a tent trailer a few weeks ago, and needed to test it out. Any excuse will do for to go on a vacation, so away we went. After going through a thunderstorm in a trailer, we’re sold on the trailer idea. Having spent several nights in previous camping trips frantically digging trenches around tents and arranging tarps to keep tents dry, the concept of rolling over and going back to sleep when it starts raining was quite welcome. The trailer is older, but the inside (the bit that counts) is almost like new. Pictures of the trip are here.

Pretty sweet setup Mike. Do you need electrial hook up? Next time you come to visit us you can drag the trailer up and we can throw our rowdies in there to sleep!

There is electrical (for lights and the fridge) and water hookup, but you’ve gotta pay extra for those sites. Being a cheap dutchmen we just brought our flashlights and a cooler.
