We went to see the latest Disney creation this weekend, the first movie (of seven?) of the Chronicles of Narnia. Yes, I know, Prince Caspian is the first book, and there were other (awful) movies. This is the first good one.

The movie was incredible, and very true to the book, I didn’t find any discrepancies except the line about war being an ugly thing when women are involved (it’s changed to be less sexist), and I only knew that because I’d read it somewhere else. We were very glad we didn’t take Noah (age five) along, he would have had his fingers in his ears and crying before the first title screen came up. We’ll wait until the video comes out before showing it to him.
